Tap the cog at the top right of the home screen, and answer the sum. Children can't reach purchases or links out without it.

Start shift becomes Show a grown-up, which leads through the sum to what your child has done and what the unlock adds. Progress is kept, and the clock tool, the depot and the widget stay available.

Open For grown-ups and tap Restore purchase. It needs the same Apple Account that made the purchase.

Open For grown-ups and tap Add a child. Each child has their own name, cap and progress. There's one child before the unlock, and after it you can add every child in your family.

Progress syncs through iCloud between devices signed in to the same Apple Account, which can take a few minutes. It doesn't sync between different accounts, even in the same Family Sharing group, so a child with their own account won't appear on a parent's phone.

If a child is set up on two devices before they sync, they arrive as two children. Open For grown-ups, tap one of them and choose Merge, which keeps the most recent answers.

After the unlock, open For grown-ups, tap your child's name, then the link to set their routine. Add breakfast, school, bedtime or anything else, and My Day appears under Start shift on your child's home screen.

Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Clockwork. The Station clock widget comes in small and medium sizes. It's free, and shows the time in the wording you've chosen in the app.

For grown-ups has Wording (UK or US), Spoken questions, Sounds and Easy-reading text, which adds space between letters, words and lines.

Open For grown-ups, tap the child's name and choose Delete at the bottom. Their progress goes from every device on that Apple Account. This can't be undone.
