Clockwork Station

Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

The short version

  • The developer collects nothing: no personal information, no usage data, and no information from children.
  • Your family's data stays on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.
  • There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and no third-party code in the app.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details.

Data on your devices

Clockwork Station stores what it needs to play: each child's first name or nickname and chosen cap, where they started, which times they know and the mistakes they make, the shifts they've played, their model railway, and any routine a grown-up adds to My Day.

If you're signed in to iCloud, this data syncs between your devices through your own private iCloud account, under Apple's privacy policy. The developer can't see or reach it. It's also included in your device's backups.

The Home Screen widget reads only the wording you've chosen, and holds no child's data.

Speech

Questions and help are spoken in a voice that was recorded in advance and ships inside the app. Nothing is sent anywhere to make the speech, and the app never uses the microphone or camera.

Purchases

Purchases go through the App Store and your Apple Account. The app asks Apple whether the unlock has been bought, and what the App Store says about it.

Children

Clockwork Station is made for children, and collects no personal information from them. Everything that links out of the app, and every purchase, sits behind a parental gate.

Your choices

A grown-up can delete a child at any time under For grown-ups, or delete the app to remove everything on that device. To remove what's in iCloud, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, and manage the app's data there.
